Hi my name is Joshua Scotton and I’m from England. I’m 24 years old and I am currently studying for a research PhD at Warwick University. I am also a full member of the AAT, the BCS and MENSA.
In my spare time I like to do (this is not an exhaustive list!):
- Bible (I’m a Christian)
- Kempo Ju Jitsu
- Programming (lots of various projects)
- Linux (I use Ubuntu)
- 3D Design (Using Blender)
- Lacrosse
- Golf
- Rock Climbing (Mainly bouldering, that’s the type without ropes)
- Football (that’s soccer for people from the US)
- Rugby (I like watching it)
- Music (I play guitar and piano)
- Science (Physics, Astronomy, Biology)
- Playstation 3 Games
- Latin and Ballroom Dance
- Photography

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips and hints for first-time blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
