D2+ apparently works as well Thanks …. but there is one more thing … howto sync collection from PC to player’s storage and sd card ? How to tell Banshee “use player’s storage and when it’s full, switch to sd card” ?

Happy to tell you the D2 msc method also works on the Cowon i9, Banshee can now see and manage it!

I’d like to mention that this trick also works to get the Sansa Clip+ working in Banshee:

$ cat /media/SANSA/.is_audio_player
audio_folders=MUSIC/
folder_depth=2
output_formats=audio/ogg,audio/x-ms-wma,audio/mpeg,audio/wav,audio/flac,audio/mp3

It probably works for other audio devices too as long as they can be mounted as USB Mass Storage devices.
