I went to Dovedale on Friday and took a few photos on the way down from Thorpe Cloud to the Stepping Stones. Spent some time today stitching them together with an open source program called Hugin.

This can be used to import a number of reference images into a scene as an aid to modelling.

V1.0

* imports any pictures with the extension .jpg
* resizes planes to 2 blender units per 1000 pixels

V1.1

* implements changes proposed by migius on blenderartists to work on windows xp
* can choose any extension
* can choose the scale

V1.2

* cosmetic changes ;)

Finally created a banner for the week day challenges over at blenderartists.org
