Been busy polishing off one piece I composed before performing it a couple of weeks back. It’s called ‘Eternal Hope’, YouTube video below:

As usual the recordings are just me on the piano + a tiny it of editing and are entirely my own arrangement without referring to sheet music.
You can download them using the links below and you can also listen to them and/or download them from my last.fm page:
- As The Deer
- It’s Your Blood
- Little Star
- Farwell Spanish Ladies
- The Lord’s My Shepherd Medley
- When I Survey

- Yesterday
- What a Friend Medley
Here’s some more instrumental piano recordings that I put together.
First there’s Moon River, very short clip.
Then there’s a couple of instrumental peices of some Christian songs I’ve written. The idea is to get a rough idea of the music down so I can record them with a friend in 2009. Here they are:
I’ve uploaded everything I’ve recorded to last.fm
I’m thinking about doing The Sound of Music, Blue Moon and Angels…

I’ve been helping set up a music website/blog for a friend of mine.
After uploading all the music over at last.fm where you can listen to the tracks, we took a while finding a simple way to sell the music on the site.
The main requirements were for an easy way to sell downloadable products and accept paypal payments.
We finally came up with a plugin for wordpress called e-commerce which works well, and we used that to create the shop.
You can see the finished website here.
I’ve been mucking around with this piece for a while now and managed to get a semi-decent recording over the weekend.
It’s completely from memory and by ear but it’s still recognisable as the theme from Braveheart – “For the Love of a Princess”
All it needs is some bagpipes in the background…
