What an interesting year it has been. We missed out on Euro 2008, made up for it in the Olympics and of course it was the year of the credit crunch. On a more personal note I finally finished my degree this year.

Just when you thought 2008 was over astronomers decided to make us wait even longer for 2009 to start by adding an extra leap second to 2008.

Got my third year results from the Open University and they were good enough to keep me on target for my first class overall, so I’m very pleased with them.
